IESL WA Hosts Successful MSA Information Session

MSA Information Session Draws Large Crowd

IESL WA recently hosted a highly successful Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) Information Session that attracted over 60 engineers from across Perth. The event, held at a central Perth venue, provided attendees with comprehensive guidance on the Engineers Australia assessment process — a critical step for many Sri Lankan engineers seeking Australian permanent residency.

What Was Covered

The session featured presentations from IESL WA members who have successfully completed the EA assessment, covering topics such as the Competency Demonstration Report (CDR), knowledge assessment requirements, and common pitfalls to avoid. A panel Q&A allowed attendees to ask specific questions about their situations.

Feedback

"This was exactly what I needed," said one attendee. "Having people who have been through the process guide us was invaluable." The overwhelming positive response has led the committee to plan further sessions in the coming months.

Members interested in attending future sessions can register their interest via email at info@iesl-wa.org.
